| Serene Hair & Beauty Salon Owner, Jacqui Griggs, and Salon Manager, Pauline Meek, are celebrating 20 years in business. Jacqui first started trading in 1989 in a small salon at 9 High Street, Broadstairs and, in 2001, moved to bigger premises to cope with a growing clientele.
Serene Hair & Beauty, as well as celebrating their 20 Year Anniversary, has just undergone a refurbishment. After 8 years at our existing salon, we felt that we needed a new look so we have replaced our trademark leopard print in the waiting area with a contemporary striped fabric and have installed a fabulous chandelier.
We have extended our top salon to give more room and have added huge venetian mirrors and dressing tables to give a light and airy feel. We have also replaced our upstairs lighting to give a softer effect. This new style is reflected in our downstairs salon with a soft tone striped wallpaper.
The staff at Serene pride themselves in offering a friendly professional service in glamorous surroundings but at very competitive prices. In this economic climate, we know that people want and deserve really good value for money and we believe that you most certainly receive that at Serene.
